2) Scope of Application (B2C vs. B2B)

2.1. Consumer purchases (B2C): When you purchase as a private consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules apply, including the statutory right to complain and the right of withdrawal for distance sales.

2.2. Business purchases (B2B): When you purchase as a business, terms regarding warranty, liability, and complaints may differ from B2C. This is stated in the relevant sections below.

3) Products, Use, and Safety

3.1. iceKore sells ice baths and related components (for example cooling/pump systems, filtration, hoses, and accessories). Correct use, setup, and maintenance of the product are described in the enclosed manual and guides (including the frost guide).

3.2. Use of the ice bath is at your own risk. Stop immediately if you feel discomfort, and do not use the product in case of illness, feeling unwell, or where use conflicts with medical advice. During freezing conditions, extra caution must be exercised due to slippery surfaces, steps, and edges.

4) Orders and Order Confirmation

4.1. A binding agreement is concluded when you receive an order confirmation by email or a signed quotation/order confirmation.

4.2. iceKore may cancel an order in the event of obvious pricing errors, stock errors, or force majeure, and will inform you as soon as possible.

5) Prices, Delivery, and Payment

5.1. All prices are stated in DKK including VAT. Any delivery costs will be shown at checkout/in the quotation.

5.3. For bank transfer/invoice payments, the payment deadline is 8 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed. In the event of late payment, interest and reminder fees may be charged in accordance with applicable rules.

6) Delivery, Risk, and Transport Damage

6.1. Delivery will as a rule take place at the desired location, unless otherwise agreed or the conditions are insufficient.

6.2. The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery. For consumers, however, risk as a rule passes upon physical receipt.

6.3. Inspection upon receipt: Upon delivery, the customer must inspect the packaging and product. Visible transport damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to iceKore within 48 hours, together with photos.

7) Right of Withdrawal

7.1. For distance sales, you as a consumer generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the product.

7.2. Withdrawal must be communicated in writing to kontakt@icekore.dk.

7.3. Return shipment must take place no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice. As a general rule, the customer bears the return costs unless otherwise stated.

7.4. Diminished value: You are liable for any diminished value if the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and function.

7.5. Exceptions: The right of withdrawal may be limited for products made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized, including changes to size, shape, stairs, lid, or similar features.

8) Complaints (B2C - statutory consumer rights)

8.1. As a consumer, you have a 24-month right to complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The right to complain covers defects that were present at delivery or arise from circumstances for which the seller is responsible.

8.2. You must complain within a "reasonable time" after discovering the defect. Complaints made within 2 months will normally be considered timely.

8.3. For approved complaints, iceKore may choose to repair, replace, offer a price reduction, or rescind the purchase depending on the circumstances.

9) Warranty (voluntary) and Limitations

This section is a voluntary warranty undertaking from iceKore and applies in addition to your statutory rights.

9.1. Private customers: iceKore provides a 2-year warranty on the tub and pump covering manufacturing and material defects under normal use and proper maintenance.

9.2. Business/professional use: For commercial or professional use, the warranty period is 6 months unless otherwise stated in the quotation.

9.3. The warranty period is calculated from the delivery date documented by invoice or order confirmation.

9.4. The warranty does not cover consumables, normal wear and tear, cosmetic issues without functional impact, or issues caused by lack of maintenance.

10) Misuse, Lack of Maintenance, and Exclusions

10.1. iceKore does not cover faults or damage if these are wholly or partly caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or use contrary to the manual or guides
  • Lack of or insufficient maintenance, including cleaning and replacement of filters
  • Operation without sufficient water level or without water in the system
  • Use of unsuitable or unauthorized chemicals
  • Modifications or repairs carried out by an unauthorized third party
  • Frost damage caused by failure to follow frost guidance
  • External events, accidents, fire, flooding, lightning, or power surges without appropriate protection

10.2. Frost and winter operation: During freezing weather, the pump must remain switched on and run on Auto/Automode, and manual timers must be turned off. During extreme frost, the pump must be removed and stored indoors above freezing. Failure to do so may result in frost damage, which is not covered by the warranty.

10.3. iceKore may request reasonable documentation of maintenance and operation in connection with a fault report.

Note: This section does not limit the consumer's mandatory rights under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

11) Service, Troubleshooting, and Remedies

11.1. In the event of a fault report, the customer must contact kontakt@icekore.dk and provide the order number, product model, delivery date, and a description of the issue.

11.2. iceKore may require the customer to complete reasonable troubleshooting steps before any return or replacement is carried out.

11.3. If the fault is due to circumstances mentioned in section 10, iceKore may charge for technician time and spare parts.

12) Returns in Warranty or Complaint Cases

12.1. Returns may only take place by prior agreement and with an issued return label/RMA.

12.2. The product must be packaged securely. Damage caused by inadequate packaging may result in rejection or deduction.

13) Limitation of Liability

13.1. iceKore is not liable for indirect losses, including operating losses, loss of profit, loss of data, or consequential losses, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

13.2. iceKore is not liable for damage caused by incorrect use or lack of maintenance.

13.3. Nothing in these terms limits liability for personal injury or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14) Force Majeure

iceKore is not liable for delay or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond iceKore's control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, fire, war, strikes, epidemics, transport restrictions, supplier failure, or government orders.

15) Personal Data

iceKore processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

16) Complaints Procedure (B2C)

16.1. If we cannot find a solution, you as a consumer may file a complaint with Nævnenes Hus / the Danish Consumer Complaints Board.

16.2. If you live in another EU country, you may use the EU's online dispute resolution platform (ODR).

17) Governing Law and Venue

17.1. The agreement is governed by Danish law.

17.2. Disputes are generally settled by the Danish courts. For consumers, venue may follow mandatory statutory rules.
